The San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind is seeking legally blind cashiers for our Base Service Centers which are located on various military installations. This person will perform customer service functions including greeting customers, assisting in product selection, point of sale transactions as well as receipt and processing of payment. Other duties will include stocking shelves with incoming inventory and light cleaning duties such as maintaining clean counters and racks. Must have the ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs. and also able to stand for long periods of time. Good math skills, keyboarding skills and computer knowledge required. MUST be legally blind. Possible hiring bonus after completing 90 day orientation period.
