SUMMARY Oversee all customer relations efforts and manage sales staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage existing customer relationships for volume growth and overall profitability Develop new customers by planning, coordinating and executing sales programs. Optimize profit by product, by product group and by customer. Understand product costs and margins and provide leadership in pricing strategies and implementation of price changes. General understanding the effects of sales on P&L Manage plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections. Enhance reputation and value with customers and brokers by providing leadership in category development strategies and programs. Review and enforce customer specifications to maximize operational efficiencies in all phases of production and development. Collaborate with other department heads for optimal customer satisfaction. Manage plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections. Actively participate in product development cycle including identifying potential issues, solution management for process challenges, and execution of sample/prototype production. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in business , engineering or related field; three to five years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with current software packages such as Micro soft Word and Excel Extensive knowledge of GSA, Must be familiar with the data works system and be able to input and retrieve data.
