Join Us in Honoring Our Awardees and Unveiling Possibilities
Please join us on April 18th, 2024, at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, CA, as we gather to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of individuals who have made a profound impact for people who are blind or have low vision.
This year, we are happy to announce our individual award recipients: filmmaker Shawn Levy and actor Marilee Talkington! Organizational honoree to be announced.
In addition to the awards ceremony, we are excited to present a special screening of the AFB produced documentary, Possibilities. This film captures the stories and limitless potential of people who are blind or have low vision. You can view the trailer and learn more about Possibilities here!

The Japanese American National Museum provides a fitting backdrop for this celebration of achievement and inclusion. Located at the heart of L.A. and in the historic Little Tokyo area, the city and its community are a testament to the power of connection and sharing of our diverse stories.
