Abstract: This article describes the perceptions of teachers of students with visual impairments regarding the impact of the Mountbatten Brailler, used in a literacy-instruction project in British Columbia, on the development of students' reading and writing skills, basic computer skills, and braille note-taking skills and the students' interaction with peers and classroom teachers.
