DeafBlind Communicator
Consists of two components, a BrailleNote with Braille display and either a standard or Braille keyboard and special DB software, and the DBC Companion phone. These two separate units communicate wirelessly with each other using Bluetooth technology. The BrailleNote also has special software built into it that enables it to operate as a TTY when connected to a telephone landline. The BrailleNote and the DBC Companion are used together to allow Face-to-Face communication with a sighted person.
Face to Face Deaf-Blind Communications Solution
With Face to Face installed on a PAC Mate BX or QX, a person who is deaf-blind can communicate wirelessly with a sighted person in the same room. The sighted person uses the Face to Face bundle’s iPAQ, on which the Face to Face application is installed. The deaf-blind person uses a PAC Mate and braille display to send and receive written conversation. Communication is also possible with someone who is blind and runs the application on another PAC Mate. Users type what they want to say. Their text, as well as responses, appear on the braille display as contracted or uncontracted braille.
FSTTY

They all have a simplified interface whose textual information is spoken using Vocalizer® voice synthesis.
  • A screen reader which allows you to explore beyond the suite and navigate the standard interface of your phone.
Mobile Magnifier
Plug-in magnifier that works with the Mobile Speak screen reader to provide both screen magnification and speech output. Magnifies the whole phone screen and focuses on the items as the user moves through the information being displayed. Name Announcement Talking Caller ID With Call Waiting
This item has all the necessary functions such as announcing the caller's number, storing 99 calls, displaying the name, number, date and time, and bi-lingual Spanish/English capability. Nuance TALKS

Nuance ZOOMS
magnifies the content of mobile handset displays and enables people with low vision to navigate through the screen and make use of all of their phone's functions. It uses the complete screen area for magnification. Users can move the Nuance ZOOMS magnifier across the screen to enlarge elements and intelligently access different screen areas. Using Nuance ZOOMS' full screen magnification capability, the user can magnify the entire screen area to view its contents at up to 16 times its original size.
