AFB-DirectConnect (AFB-DC)AFB DirectConnect, the American Foundation for the Blind's public policy information and action network, will help you keep abreast of developments in the legislative, regulatory and policy formation arenas affecting the blindness field. AFB-DC, offered free of charge to all interested individuals, is an effective tool to use in your personal and professional policy monitoring and advocacy work. AFB DirectConnect will provide user-friendly targeted updates and alerts. AFB-DC replaces ,Words from Washington (WFW) which typically covered an array of diverse subject matter in each issue. On occasion, WFW was also used to deliver issue-specific calls to action when more time-sensitive matters arose. AFB Direct Connect will now provide you with more timely, detailed, topic-specific information and alerts only on issues that meet your particular interests.
