Health Care ReformThe latest on what's happening on health care reform. June 4, 2009 Copies of the health care reform letter, containing more than 100 signatures of organizations with an interest in blindness related health issues, were distributed to the chairmen and ranking minority members of the Senate Finance Committee, Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee, House Ways and Means Committee, and the House Energy and Commerce Committee. These four committees are major players in health care legislation. Copies of the letter were also delivered to members of those same four committees. August 4, 2009 A reminder to advocates to contact their Senators and Representatives about the vision loss health care agenda was sent to AFB DirectConnect (AFB-DC) subscribers. Read the alert. |
