The American Foundation for the Blind, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1921 and is exempt from federal taxes under Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Cash gifts are usually given in the form of a check, and are the most popular and simplest type of gift to AFB. You may claim an income tax deduction for the full value of your cash gift up to 50% of your adjusted gross income.
