Spring 2007Dear Friend, I feel like a little kid again. You remember that feeling you got when you were anxiously awaiting something, whether it was a birthday or a holiday celebration - or the last day of school! That's how I feel about the launch of AFB Senior Site. I have been eagerly awaiting its arrival and now it's here. And the kid in me wants to jump up and down with excitement. However, the adult in me says sit down and share that excitement with the people who deserve the credit. You! AFB Senior Site is only made possible because caring individuals such as you have the confidence in AFB to support our work. I hope you will take the opportunity to visit the site at www.afb.org/seniorsitehome.asp, and browse the many exciting features that it offers. Be sure to check out one of my favorites under the Fitness and Fun section; it's called Game Night. I love to play poker. Of course, we also hope that you will help us spread the word. The only way AFB Senior Site will have the effect we need it to have on the growing number of people with vision loss is if people know about it. We would be very grateful if you would start telling your friends and family members about the site. You can e-mail them directly from the site itself. Again, all of us at AFB thank you for helping to make our dream a reality. I hope you will visit AFB Senior Site often as we will continue to add and update information on a regular basis. Sincerely, Carl R. Augusto Spring 2007
