Ten million Americans are blind or severely visually impaired.

One in seven people aged 65 and older is blind or visually impaired.

Many visually impaired school children don't receive their textbooks on time—if they get them at all.

Only 30% of working-age legally blind individuals are employed.

Many mainstream technologies are unusable by people who are blind or visually impaired.
