For AuthorsAFB Press develops and publishes textbooks, professional and consumer books, instructional materials, journals, and a wide variety of information of interest to professionals and researchers in the visual impairment field, blind and visually impaired individuals and their families, and the public at large. The Press encourages submissions from prospective authors of manuscripts providing important information for professionals, people who are visually impaired and their families, and individuals involved in making the mainstream community accessible to people with disabilities. Prospective authors or developers of books, videos, electronic products, or other publication projects should contact AFB Press with a proposal outlining their manuscript or project (see Submitting a Proposal). Authors whose proposals have been accepted should consult Guidelines for Authors for information on preparing manuscript submissions. Prospective contributors to the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness should consult the Guidelines for Contributors to the journal, and submit their manuscripts to Duane R.
