Permissions and Copyright

All materials published by AFB Press—including books, videos, the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness, and AccessWorld and other materials published on the AFB web site—are copyrighted. Reproducing any portion of these materials (such as chapters, articles, tables, or figures) in any form (including posting online), requires permission from AFB Press.

The Copyright Clearance Center handles permissions requests for AFB Press materials in the following areas:

  • Photocopying or reproducing in electronic form for classroom, business, or other use

  • Photocopying or reproducing in electronic form for college course packs

  • Republishing in print in a book, journal, newsletter, paper, presentation, or other form
