AFB Senior Site Receives 2008 Communicator AwardNew York, NY (May 30, 2008)—The American Foundation for the Blind is proud to announce that AFB Senior Site has received a 2008 Silver Communicator Award. The site, chosen from more than 8,500 entries, received Awards of Distinction in both the Charitable Organizations/Non-Profit and Education categories. The Communicator Awards, overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence in advertising, corporate communications, public relations, and identity work for print, video, interactive, and audio.
