For Mentors

As you may have experienced in your own professional development, a mentor can be a very important and valuable asset in exploring and growing in a career—or many careers! AFB CareerConnect® mentors have often acquired a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience that would benefit blind or visually impaired job-seekers as they search out their own personal paths. Are you willing to share your skills and knowledge of the workplace? Become a mentor!

The American Foundation for the Blind extends a very special thank you to the AFB CareerConnect® members who have made the commitment to help job seekers and students with visual impairments who contact them in search of advice, support, and encouragement as they seek to carve out their own place in the wonderful world of work.

Job seekers, if you are looking for a mentor, you can search the mentor database here.
