Marc says: Kudos to Microsoft for the new Bing search engine. I did not take any time to practice. I navigated to the site and entered search terms and waited for the results. The results page seems fairly easy to navigate with headings.
Anybody else out there try Bing yet? How about low-vision users or hearing impaired folks try to launch the videeos by hovering the mouse?

Marc says: Site is okay but they use an imbedded YouTube player for the video. Screen reader users should note that there are both labeled and unlabeled buttons. Use your forms control navigation keys to find the play/pause button.

Marc says: Normally I like the New York Times but they have added CAPTCHA to the page where you can email an article to a friend. The audio version is terrible. They tell you to type in two words but the audio has more than two words, is very fast, and difficult to understand.

Marc says: I heard that Verizon is going to bundle this Motorola smart phone with a new Talks screen reader so I wanted information on the phone itself. If you go to the table with all of the specs and you have your screen reader set to read languages other than English in a different voice, you will be surprised to hear what your screen reader says. Hey Moto, get someone to code the page in only one language please!

Here are some highlights: headings, meaningful language, skip links, alt keys, and labeled graphics. Some may disagree with alt keys but at least they are there. Kudos to AT&T but how about more accessible wireless phone choices!
