(advertisement) Technology Scholarship Award Program The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) is one of six organizations partnering with Freedom Scientific, Inc. to provide opportunities to high school seniors and college students who are legally blind and planning to continue their education and help them obtain assistive technology they will need to succeed in their education, future careers and their everyday lives. The Freedom Scientific Technology Scholarship Award Program administered by the AFB will select five winners of the $1,500 award and five winners of the $2,500 award. The scholarships will be awarded as vouchers towards the purchase of any of Freedom Scientific’s products, including hardware, software, accessories, training and/or tutorials.
