Job Description
This is a position in a 24/7 contact center environment whose focus is on providing excellent customer service. The position involves supporting customer through calls, emails and chats. The contacts will be both inbound and outbound and assignments will vary.
You must be able to ask questions through the use of motivational interviewing techniques to determine customer’s requirements, resolve problems, and refer them to the correct agency. Build relationships that support returning customers, collect and input data, complete order forms, research and resolve customer problems
Out bound projects consist of conducting product/customer satisfaction surveys updating contact information or suggesting additional products or services.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. This position requires a team player who is; self-motivated, hard working, is flexible, and has great attention to detail. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information Use active listening skills; demonstrate objectivity and empathy and be non-judgmental and neutral in handing all calls.
Has a working knowledge of computers, primarily MS Office applications and performing research on the internet
Must be able to work assigned contract hours, various shifts, 7 days a week & Holidays.
Experience and Education:
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Internet Navigation. Associates Degree in related field One-year experience in customer service and/or Call Center industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience Familiarity with adaptive technology (JAWS and/or Magic) a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands on keyboard; for the majority of their shift.
