We are thrilled to announce that the long-anticipated Android version of Be My Eyes is finally available. Be My Eyes is a free app that brings sight to blind and visually impaired people through a live video connection with sighted volunteers.

For Android users, the wait is now over - Be My Eyes app for Android is here to assist blind and visually impaired users all over the world.

Today, there are more than half a million volunteers who are eagerly awaiting their next opportunity to assist the 38,000 blind and visually impaired users who are currently using the app. With the launch of the Android version, now even more people, both sighted and visually impaired, can join the community. With so many volunteers ready to help, blind and visually impaired users can use the service as much as they want, at any time of the day. On top of that, the Be My Eyes service is, and will always be, free.

“We are proud to finally release Be My Eyes for Android and, with the help of our amazing volunteers, be able to provide assistance to even more blind and visually impaired people all over the world, at any time of the day. We have made sure to incorporate all our learnings from the successful iOS version into the Android app, to make sure that all our users get the best possible experience when using Be My Eyes.”
