Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research Seeking Expert Peer Reviewers for Upcoming Competitions

Date: 2/13/2018

A stack of books and binders. One binder has the word RESEARCH typed across its spine.

The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) has a variety of programs, research summaries, performance and evaluation of research, and data collection projects coming down the pipeline and is seeking peer reviewers. Expertise in all areas of disability and rehabilitation is welcome. NIDILRR uses teleconferences to conduct all review meetings, so reviewers do not have to travel to participate. Interested individuals who would like to be considered for peer reviewers may send CV and contact information to NIDILRR-grants@acl.hhs.gov.

With a mission to generate new knowledge and promote its effective use to improve the abilities of people with disabilities to perform activities of their choice in the community; and to expand society's capacity to provide full opportunities and accommodations for citizens with disabilities, NIDILRR is the primary research arm at the Administration for Community Living (ACL).
