Online Course on Macular Degeneration Offered by Envision University

Lines of Sight: A Low Vision Rehabilitation Model for Macular Degeneration, a course describing the etiology of macular degeneration, the tools used to assess functional vision loss, identifies treatment strategies to help patients increase and maintain independence, and identifies current research in the field of macular degeneration is being offered by Donald Fletcher, MD; Karen Kendrick, OTR/L, CLVT; Andra Mies, COTA; and Laura Walker, PhD.

Sponsored by Envision University, this 4-hour course has been approved for 4 hours of CEU credits through ACVREP, AOTA, COPE, and CPC. COPE accreditation for online continuing education courses are joint sponsored by Northeastern State University College of Optometry.
