The Business Development Research Specialist analyzes internal and external data and provides analysis that supports strategic planning and business development activities; conducts research and data analysis to assist in making effective planning decisions; using available resources conducts research to support development of new products and services for business development. The Business Development Research Specialist will provide analytical support to the department to effectively continue pipeline opportunities.
1.Responsible for assisting with new business development research by gathering required information from individual research through various sources.
2.Communicate directly or indirectly with customers to ensure expectations are being exceeded.
3.Responsible for providing analysis and reporting on the progress of potential new products for development.
4.Responsible for providing analysis and reporting on the new target agencies and customers.
5.Perform market and data research related to the development, and launch of new products.
6.Assist in existing and future product development projects, manage objectives, provide status reports and enter data into project management software system.
7.Provide follow-up support in outcomes of individual projects.
8.Performs other job duties as assigned.

1.Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
2.Strong researching capabilities and information management capabilities
3.Ability to analyze complex situations and develop range of solutions.
4.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word; Excel, and email.
5.Ability to work well with others
6.Excellent communication and time management skills
7.Strong detail oriented organizational skills with ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
8. Current state driver's license and proof of insurability
