Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of complex tasks associated with the timely and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of the production machinery.

1.Performs set up, inspection, testing, monitoring, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing machines, mechanical equipment, etc.
2.Assist with inspections and follow up tasks pertaining to related local, state and federal codes including sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, alarms, storm water, etc.
3.Completes and maintains related documentation as required including maintenance logs, etc.
4.Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
5.May provide technical direction to Technician I
6.Performs other job duties as assigned

1.High School Diploma or equivalent
2.Three years full time related job experience in a manufacturing environment including set up, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery or 2 years related experience plus successful completion of related trade school or college program
3.Strong working knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic theory and programmable (computerized) machinery
4.Proficient basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and simple fractions)
5.Proficiency in reading and writing English
6.Basic computer skills
7.Good communication skills and ability to work well with others and as a team
8.Ability to use a Forklift, Scissor Lift, Baler/Crusher
9.Familiar with OSHA Lock out/Tag Out procedure
10.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
11.Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed including inclement weather
12.Current state driver’s license and proof of insurability
