Under general supervision, performs retail sales support duties including customer service, inventory control, ordering, product identification, shipping/receiving, and clerical functions in support of daily operations.

1.Greets and assists customers in product selection.
2.Processes and completes sales transaction for customer.
3.Creates purchase orders.
4.Places orders with vendors for products, substituting appropriate Ability-One items for the commercial equivalent.
5.Labels and stocks merchandise on shelves, racks, etc.
6.Performs light cleaning duties (sweeping, dusting, etc.) required to maintain clean racks, counters and customer service area.
7.Participates in inventory control process including inventory counts, etc.
8.Supports Shipping & Receiving Department including receiving, stocking, labeling and packing merchandise and HAZMAT where available per location.
9.Performs other job duties as assigned

1.Requires high School diploma or GED equivalent.
2.Basic knowledge of JWOD Program and Federal Supply Schedule.
3.Requires good people skills.
4.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
5.Proficiency using computer/Window applications.
6.Two years experience with Point-of-Sale system in a retail environment preferred.
7.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Normal retail store and warehouse environment.
