SUMMARY OF POSITION: Seeking an individual who can further the organization’s mission while increasing sales and profitability by developing relationships with local businesses to obtain new opportunities for manufacturing products and services as well as sell our products to newly identified outlets.

• Obtain a comprehensive understanding of IOB's mission, needs, and goals
• Perform market research and analysis to identify opportunities for IOB to grow its business into retail and commercial (non-government) markets; Identify target markets and focus companies within those markets
• Identify opportunities to increase new business growth; Build funnel of opportunities and prioritize targets for greatest impact
• Identify products and services IOB can offer to new / existing customers, leveraging the current capabilities of the business and our workforce, understanding which solutions are likely to deliver the greatest increase in business
• Sell IOB’s outsourced manufacturing, kitting, and distribution services (existing and new) to expanded retail and commercial customers, delivering increased revenue to the business
• Keep management informed through sales reports, weekly plans, and funnel updates
• Manage customers and service accounts; Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and working with customers to implement
• Met sales and growth targets on a quarterly and annual basis
• Establish and develop IOB's brand and presence in the community as a leading 3rd party manufacturer and distributor via social media, events, networking and outreach
• Quickly develop and maintain required professional and technical knowledge
• Strong candidates will have proven experience in sales and business development for a manufacturing facility in fulfillment and production and developing business plans and marketing initiatives to drive growth and expansion.

• BA / BS: Business, Sales, Marketing or related degree
• 7-10 Years of experience in sales, business development and marketing for small/medium manufacturing facility
• Comfort in a primarily commission-based structure
• Experience selling outsourced manufacturing, assembly, and /or distribution services
• Business-to-business sales experience
• Self-starter
