    • Provides information on all visual problems, eye safety, prevention of blindness. Refers to programs for seniors.

  • Travel/Orientation and Mobility
    • Instruction is provided in the skills necessary to enable a visually impaired person to travel independently and safely in a residential area and throughout the community. A variety of long canes & tips, support canes and other mobility devices are available for demonstration.

  • Early Intervention/Infant Services
    • Offers services for children age birth through 3 years.

    • Provides education services to public and private schools for the education of blind and visually impaired children.

    • Provides transition services, career and skill counseling, prevocational evaluation, career preparation training and vocational placement.

    • Performs low vision exams and evaluations.
