Hope Haven's multidisciplinary team provides excellence in educational, psychological and related therapeutic services for children, young adults and families with special needs. Hope Haven clients include those with: learning challenges and disabilities, such as dyslexia and attention deficit disorder; developmental needs, such as those related to autism, Down syndrome and other challenges; mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety or repercussions of divorce.
Hours of operation: Mon-Thurs.8:00 AM-6:00 PM; Fri. 8:00 AM-Noon.
Clients served on average per year: Over 5,000 families receive services each year.
Staff description: Expert team of psychologists, pediatricians, educational specialists, speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and tutors work together to promote each individual's ability to learn. Areas of specialization include children with Down syndrome, autism, dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, and other learning disabilities. Specific programs for adults with disabilities are available.
Geographic area served: Unlimited, although clients come mainly from Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia
