Brief Description

Our Low Vision and Blindness Teacher Preparation Program provides education leading to licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. ISU was just awarded a grant call EL VISTA (Early Learning Visual Impairment Services, Training, and Advancement). EL VISTA is an EI certification program for TVI's, O & M's, and Deaf-Blind professionals.

    • Undergraduate and graduate (master's, doctoral) programs for teachers of the visually handicapped and multihandicapped. Offers program for certification in education of visually impaired children through distance education.
