Brief Description

Prevent Blindness Northern California is an affiliate of Prevent Blindness America, committed to "preventing blindness and preserving sight for all people of Northern California." It offers an online database of resources for services and organizations relevant to people who are blind or have low vision and live in Northern California.

Hours of operation: Mon.-Fri. 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or by special arrangement.
Staff description: More than 400 volunteers in addition to staff in vision screening programs.

    • Performs vision screening aimed at early detection and prevention for preschool children.
