Geographic area served: Louisiana. Braille readers receive service from Utah.
Publications: Louisiana Hotlines (quarterly newsletter), large-print catalogue, descriptive videos catalogue.

Services for Adults

  • Library Services
    • Provides talking books, talking book machines, large-print books, audiocassettes, and braille books for blind and physically handicapped persons.

Services for Children

  • Library Services
    • Books and magazines in a wide variety of topics are available in large print, recorded cassette, braille and web-braille formats. The State Library of Louisiana also has a collection of descriptive videos in VHS and DVD formats which are loaned to eligible users.
