VBA furnishes compensation and pensions for disability and death to veterans and their dependents. Provides vocational rehabilitation services, including counseling, training, and assistance toward employment, to blinded veterans disabled as a result of service in the armed forces during World War II, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam era; also provides rehabilitation services to certain peace-time veterans.
