Hi folks, I recently got a refurbished computer that utilizes the NVDA screen reader. It is different than Jaws and assume also different from Window-Eyes but read the Access World article that gave it a grand evaluation. The computer uses something called Jarte instead of MS Word, and the tutorials are a bit difficult to access for NVDA but can be done. Is there a site that would list command keys that one can braille or print for this particular reader?
Thanks for reply in advance.

Thank you for the Jart mailing list or web URL, will give them a visit. My biggest issue seems to be transitioning from jaws commands to NVDA commands and just have to keep reminding myself Jaws may use control _____ to initiate a command, and NVDA uses the insert key _____ to exsecute given command. I do like it so far and just gotta get on the home PC and learn its ins and outs.. Thanks again.

I know what you mean about that email list, it's very high traffic! But I use NVDA and the free version of Jarte on my laptop, which is currently having unknown issues. But I think the Jarte website may also be of some assistance. It is http://www.jarte.com . Hope this helps.

Crista, thanks for the URL. I did get signed up for their email support but the digest form is the best as the NVDA email list gets several email posts on any given day and don't have time to read them all or go through them. Much thanks..
