So if I have a ham stake.
Wich ham stakes are flat.
So how can you tell what is fat and what is meat.
Will it feel different or not?

It is also possible to choose cuts of meat which are low in fat. Chicken and turkey is going to be lower in fat than red meat (beef lamb pork) and white meat chicken and turkey will be lower in fat than dark meat. Remember any red meat is going to be harder to digest than chicken turkey and fish.

hi; the fat on a piece of meet when raw feels a bit sponge-like, and is more slimy than lean meat.
through the package, a steak for example, you can tell by pressing your fingers to the package, and the fat will feel like ribbons where the lean meat will feel like slabs. chicken is more difficult through the package, but easier when cutting it raw, the fat is very slimy. Pork fat is also very slimy compared to the lean meat.
