Description: This presentation will explain how Sprint Vision is specifically focused on the telecommunication needs of blind and low vision individuals, and it will outline how it is working behind the scenes with phone manufacturers and service providers to ensure the best experience for its blind and low vision customers. The combination of accessible technology and telecommunications aligns beautifully with AccessWorld’s work and mission; therefor, Sprint Accessibility is proud to sponsor the first edition of the upcoming, newly-formatted, AccessWorld magazine.

Sprint Vision is committed to becoming the wireless provider of choice for the blind and low vision community, and we need your help. Sprint will be asking session attendees for feedback and suggestions for customer-centered solutions.

The presentation will discuss how the device works and the evaluation process to determine candidacy for surgery.

How is it different from previous standards? And how could it impact accessibility? This presentation will walk through what infrastructure is needed to support the network, how it works, and how it could enhance opportunities for accessible services.

So are our options and the way we connect and do our work, both in the classroom and workplace. In this presentation, HumanWare looks at what we have today and dreams about what is promising tomorrow.
