Your Employment Story: An Instructor's Roadmap for Using CareerConnect with Students
CareerConnect is packed with transition-relevant resources. This lesson series provides direction for presenting CareerConnect’s articles and media, and provides an organized method for directing students toward the site's most valuable features: contacting mentors, creating a resume, and conducting a job search. Additionally, the employability skills concentrated in CareerConnect are systematically addressed, such as networking, communicating on the job, developing positive work habits, negotiating assistance, and disclosing a disability. In short, this lesson series is an instructor’s map for using CareerConnect.
