From the light bulb to the first cell phone, science has influenced the way life is lived and work is done all over the world. If you use the Internet, a medical device of any kind, a microwave, or even just watch TV, you are benefitting directly from a scientist’s work.

Questions: How do these workers perform their job duties? Do they use specialized tools or devices and equipment to perform various job tasks? Name the accommodations they use. Think about how you might be creative enough to help come up with a solution that would help you do your job more efficiently if none were available. Explain.
