Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

Educational Seminars at the AFB Center on Vision Loss

One of the many ways the American Foundation for the Blind Center on Vision Loss shares information and resources is through educational seminars, offered periodically at the Center by staff and local subject matter experts.

Topics vary from causes & treatment of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy to recreational and leisure activities for people with little or no vision.

Seminars are open to people with vision loss, their family and friends as well as professionals serving them or anyone interested in the impact of vision loss in our community.

Often our seminars are recorded and archived so that you can benefit from the information at your convenience. Check the Calendar of Events for upcoming seminars.

Registration is free, but seating is always limited, so register early. If you would like to receive email or printed announcements of upcoming seminars, call (214) 352-722 or email with your name, address, phone number and email address. We will be happy to add you to our Master Seminar Invitation List.
