Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

How the AFB Center on Vision Loss Serves Individuals with Vision Loss

The American Foundation for the Blind Center on Vision Loss has one mission: expanding possibilities for people with vision loss. If that is you, you are the main reason we do everything we do.

The Center staff or volunteers will provide you with information and connect you to resources whether you are 10 years old and born blind, 75 years old and experiencing recent vision loss, or of any age with any eye condition.

If you are struggling with the adjustment to losing vision, the Center is designed to give you information to relieve your frustrations and give you resources to help you learn what you need to know about living with vision loss.

If you are looking for solutions to work-related problems, we can show you access technology and connect you with the agencies that can best meet your needs.

Call (214) 352-7222 to ask questions or schedule a tour of our 1,800-square-foot demonstration model home to start your journey to independence.
