Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

How the AFB Center on Vision Loss Helps Service Providers

Whether you are a vocational rehabilitation counselor, a vision rehabilitation therapist, an occupational therapist, a certified teacher of the visually impaired, or an orientation & mobility instructor, the American Foundation for the Blind Center on Vision Loss is a comprehensive resource for you and those you serve.

We can open up possibilities that you never dreamed of, point you in the right direction when you need a resource, sort out the confusing maze of agencies you are trying to navigate, or update the understanding you have of access technology. We are a one-stop clearing house of information and resources.

We encourage you to bring your students/consumers to the Center for an experiential teaching opportunity. To schedule a product demonstration or a tour of Esther's Place, or to ask a question, call (214) 352-7222 or email
