How to participate in the 21st Century Agenda on Aging and Vision Loss

There are a number of ways you can get involved in the Agenda.

Attend Goal Meetings

  • The Goal 2 meetings take place on the second Wednesday of the month. Contact Pris Rogers for more information.
  • The Goal 3 meetings take place on the second and fourth Mondays of the month beginning on April 10. Contact Rebecca Sheffield for more information.

How-to Participate in Goal Meetings

  1. Decide on goal group or groups in which to participate.
  2. Contact AFB staff liaisons or email Sarah Malaier
  3. Join our Google Group listserv. To join, follow this link and select "contact the owner," or email Sarah Malaier.

Order A 21st Agenda on Aging and Vision Loss Poster

AFB has designed a fabric poster which explains the 21st Agenda on Aging and Vision Loss and the goals that have been developed. It can be used for AER state chapter meetings or other meetings to explain the Agenda and how it is being operationalized. You can request to use the poster by contacting Pris Rogers, VisionAware Program Manager at AFB. It can be pinned to a poster board and used for a poster session, seminar or presentation. The poster is 48"x 36". Email: progers@afb.net.
