Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

Section 508 Compliance

If your company has ever had a government contract, then you might already be familiar with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 requires that all "electronic and information technology" (EIT) developed, procured, maintained, or used by federal agencies must be equally accessible to persons with disabilities as it is to those who are not disabled. This requirement is designed to provide to people with disabilities a level of access to information and data that is comparable to the access enjoyed by non-disabled employees or members of the general public.

AFB TECH can help your company navigate the complexities of Section 508, helping you gain access to lucrative government contracts at the same time people with vision loss acquire access to valuable information electronically.

Contact AFB TECH to find out how your company can make its products accessible according to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, or read more about Section 508.
