Abstract: Of the 51 adults who were deaf-blind and cognitively normal who were surveyed about their recreational preferences and practices, 50% were employed and 60% were unsatisfied with their current recreational pursuits, which did not match their preferred recreational activities. The barriers to involvement in recreational activities were the lack of transportation, others to participate with, programming, and time.
