Abstract: This study, of the effects of assertiveness training to enhance the social/assertiveness skills of 26 visually impaired adolescents, found that the adolescents’ social skills were judged differently by parents, the students themselves, teachers, and observers and that the training had some specific effect on increasing the participants’ assertiveness.
