The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) has long championed the development of literacy, technology, and employment resources to benefit people with visual impairments (those who are blind or have low vision) of all ages. The train-the-trainers course described in this Practice Report constitutes one of those approaches—providing training in sound instructional strategies to assistive technology (AT) specialists who work with people who are visually impaired.
