Here are some options: Practice Report: Using the Braille Lite to Study Foreign LanguagesSince Practice Reports do not have abstracts, we have provided an extract of the beginning of the full text. Visually impaired students who want to study foreign languages must overcome certain hurdles. The major difficulty is the production of written work in print for sighted teachers who do not read braille. This article describes a strategy for accomplishing this task independently without the assistance of sighted individuals. The description is limited to German, French, and Spanish, although the same strategy could be used with other languages that use the Latin alphabet and whose accented letters are represented in the ASCII character set. This strategy does not require the installation of a translation program for the language being studied.
