The year 2006 marked the centennial of the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness (JVIB). Originally entitled Outlook for the Blind, and later New Outlook for the Blind, JVIB has always kept professionals up-to-date on all the major developments and trends of the field of visual impairment and blindness, serving as the cornerstone of the field's literature for a century. The following is a list of the free excerpts from past issues, and commentary from leaders in the field on subject areas such as braille, low vision, O&M, employment.
