Pain in the back/top of my eyes

It's only happened a couple of times, but right before I fall asleep, I'll get startled with this pain that feels like someone just punched the back of my eyes.  It'll hurt and ache, but at the time that it happens it almost feels like my eyes aregoing to pop out of my head.  It happened last night, and this morning I woke withthis horrible eye ache where the top of my eye balls are.  Can anyone help me figure out  what might be causing this?  Thank you!

    Dont hwsitate. See a doctor or else you may be in haf way for a really bad disease

    Do you have sinus problems? Your sinus cavity lies in that area and can cause eye pain.

    Hi Karen this is Angelo from Athens Greece.
    I had a similar problem 2 months ago. The pain was coming and going during the day and also during sleep time.
    I disided to go to an eye doctor. He found nothing wrong with my eyes, BUT he told me to better go and have an MRI.
    The results swow that there is a tumour (a good one thanks GOD) on the top of the hypophysis gland which is in the back of the nose and forehead and it must be removed. Thanks GOD that in our days the technology exist.
    So I have scheduled for an operation at the end of month.
    Dont waste any time, you better go and see a doctor.
