Seeking information

My name is Vernon Humphrey I am a visually impaired PhD student (I have RP with a 5 degree visual field). I am trying to design a pilot survey which will eventually become my dissertation. I want to research how previously sighted individuals overcame the loss of nonverbal cues. I will be posting a 60 question survey on line in the near future and I am going to be looking for participants.
Can I post a request for participants on here? Do you know any other places I can search for participants?
Thanks Vern

Posted by jadwiga on 4/10/2011 at 7:52 AMThere are organizations such as the American Council of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind. These organizations publish the Braille Forum and the Braille Monitor respectively. You can advertise the link to your survey there. They also each have special interest groups and mailing lists which may be ways for you to get the word out.
