Doro Cell Phones; Simple, cheap, big buttons

Frao the New York Times, by ERIC A. TAUB
More Tech for Older People. [Edited by ===gm===]
"Cellular Service: A Swedish company, Doro, has brought to the United States two of its mobile phones created for the elderly. At $40 and $50 each, they’re considerably less expensive than some competing models; like others, they offer large buttons, simple displays, loud and vibrating ringers, easy-to-grip surfaces and Bluetooth connectivity.
The phones are available in the United States exclusively through Consumer Cellular, AARP’s official cellular provider. For those who want a family member to have a cellphone strictly for emergencies, Consumer Cellular offers a $10 a month plan with no included minutes; all calls cost 25 cents a minute."
I use a Mobal phone when abroad, but rarely use it here. I don't like its exposed buttons and hard to read screen, so the Doro flip is tempting.

My Auntie uses Just5 phone, it is also a cell phone that is especially designed for seniors and technophobe individuals. It is too easy to use, my old Auntie does not have a hard time using it; in fact, even my five-year-old sister can already use it, too. I brought out this phone in this topic because I find it more reliable as compared to Doro cell phone. Why am I able to say it? Actually, it is because of several reasons.

First of all, Just5 phone looks simpler than a flip Doro. The design of Just5 phone is more convenient, but it does not compromise a pleasing style because of its fantastic colors. Through its simple design, a person can easily access the keypad button, especially the emergency S.O.S. button. I believe this make up is very important for seniors, especially for the ones who cannot move well independently and those with blurry vision. Additionally, this does not offer a plan. So, even if the old person frequently asks for an assistance by pressing the emergency S.O.S. button to call up for help, he does not need to worry about an astronomical fee that will be indicated to his bill. Just5 phone does not offer a contract. The user of this phone can freely choose whichever SIM he wants to use.

So I would say that Just5 phone is more practical and functional cell phone for seniors and technophobe individuals.

This is a wonderful news. I do not understand that every company is competing for the same market. There are many groups of people requiring special phones. And it is not a small market. http://www.autoinsurancequoteseasy.com
