Hello everyone,
I am looking for people who are willing to assess an accessibility improvement that I designed for my University thesis.
The improvement generates automatically alt tags for the images with no alt tags by extracting the text from the images or extracting a summary of the page the image is pointing to.
The assessment will consist of going through 4 New York Time Pages and clicking on a list of suggested links before the accessibility improvement and after that to evaluate the affectivity. It should take about 10 minutes and will require no manual feedback unless of course you would like to comment or suggest improvements.
Should it be effective it will be incorporated in a free public domain browser extension.
The goal is to create automatically alt tags for sites where these do not exist and make that available to the community in a standard
simple way.
My e-mail is ottawahome at specyal dot com .Yes specyal is written with an y.
Thank you very much for your collaboration and I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Adrian
