Does anyone have a braille writer for sale that is not to much ? I am interested since I am just now learing to write braille .

Hello my name is Tom. I have a Perkins Brailler with around 20 hours of use. This machine was used for Brailleing phone numbers, resident info and things of that nature. It is like-new. Asking $150.00 or best offer. This comes with a box of paper as well. I am willing to do payments with you. I will hold Brailler until all money is-hand. email me at toml614@hotmail.com

Along those same lines, is anyone aware of a place in or near Illinois which repairs the old Braillers and/or carries the new ones? Awhile back my mom sent some in for repair, but I don't recall where she sent them. I think it might've been Iowa, but don't quote me on that. I heard from an instructor at a rehab facility I attended several years back here in Illinois, that they had an on-site husband and wife team who repaired Braillers but that they both passed away some time ago.
